Latvians are more likely to sing in choirs or form Latvian rock bands. Sudrabavots is an exception to the rule. Based in Washington, D.C., this group of 20- and 30-somethings sings ancient Latvian folk songs the traditional way. Founded in 2000, Sudrabavots has taken part in various events.
