The four-man pop-rock group Ēnas earlier this month released its eponymous debut album, Ēnas, on the Antena label. Formed in 2005, the band hails from the concrete-making town of Brocēni, according to an article in Diena. Ēnas has gained popularity with concerts around Latvia and with radio singles such as “Neprātīgais” and “Ar skaistām frāzēm.”

The album includes 13 tracks. It was recorded in the Rīga-based Sound Division studio and co-produced by Gatis Zaķis. Grammy-winning sound engineer Robert Hadley of the United States also work on the album.

Members of the band are Lauris Valters (vocals), Dāvis Ābrams (keyboards), Jānis Ķergalvis (guitar) and Mārtiņš Miļevskis (drums).
