- The numerous Latvians who live and work in Ireland are starting to create a community. The Web site for the Latvian Society in Ireland is a great way for these Latvians, many of whom live in isolated parts of the country, to find out about events scheduled in Dublin. There's a regular biweekly gathering, a school for the kids, dance evenings, and weekly Taizé-style prayer evenings.
