Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction…

Am wanting to trace my grandfathers lineage. I have his name
and date of birth and nothing else. How would i obtain his
Latvian birth certificate?

His name was: JANIS KORZOVS, born 31st AUGUST 1929

There is additional information in that thread (in particular about contacting a Latvian Embassy abroad) that may be of use to you.  I’m writing from the States and haven’t been able to determine where the Latvian Embassy is located in Australia.  Perhaps a forum member in Australia can provide contact information?
