Vai kāds man pateikt, ja tas ir iespējams piekļūt Senkrievu? LATVIJĀ MILITĀRO RECORDS.
Mans vectēvs Jānis Grasis WAS augsta ranga lielas vai līdzīgs Krievijas armijas PĒC WW1.

Viņš bija CARPENTER tirdzniecība.
DOI nekādu cerību?

Hello, thanks for the message. I could not fing Grasis but I did find Mite, which I know sometimes is used as it Grasis means Mite.

I will follow these up, but my biggest problm is that I do not know if my Grandfather had brothers or uncles etc.
My Father does remember people coming to the house and they were called “Uncles”  but no names.

Thanks again,
Margret

those are the dates they received the Iron Cross, they weren’t dead. THe ones in the list that were dead had stars besides their names. I don’t know enough about military stuff, but I think these Crosses are given out for being a hero. I kind of think all services of all countries does this.

This makes more sence now as my grandfather would have been abt 70ish in1945.
What a long journey.
I have found my Grandmothers family with help, but then I had photos of her.

So sad that families had to be torn apart like this.

thanks again, by the way if you have a need to do a search in Australia, I will be most willing to help.
