Today the bookstore received a brand new copy of:
LATVIAN COOKING, published by the Latvian Relief Society ( Daugavas Vanadzes) Ladies Auxiliary in Canada, 7th printing, 1991, brand new, soft cover, spiral bound, hundreds of recipes, ALL IN ENGLISH.
Contents:
Appetizers, Salads, Pancakes, Soups, Vegetables, Desserts, Yeast breads and Pastries (piragi, karashas, udens klingeri ( pretzels !), Coffee Cakes, Fancy cakes ( tortes, mocha meringue torte, Alexander cake—pure butter !), fowl, meats, fish, cookies, etc, etc
All books are donated to Saulaine to sell, all work is ONLY volunteer and all donations support Camp Saulaine.
We ask for a minimum $20 donation for this book—check or MO will be made out to “St. John’s Ev. Luth. Lat. Church Toronto”. We can mail anywhere! Postage will depend on where you want it sent!
