Ligita,
I will be in Rīga (live in Agenskalns) and would be happy to meet. If you are interested, please send a private message and I will send contacts.
Agenskalns??!!!! I’ll be living around the corner from the market!! I’ll send you a messge!
You could enjoy a very good Chamber Music Festival http://www.kamermuzika.lv/, witness Latvias hockey icons Dinamo Riga challenging the NHL Phoenix Coyotes Oct. 6, contemplate with the Buddhists at a Concert in wonderful Kino Riga http://www.drikung.lv/, empty a Beer stein at the Oktoberfest beside the Hotel de Rome or -if you prefer Balsam for the ears to the Bavarian Balsam- join Rigas High Society on the 9th of September for the Opera season kick-off http://www.opera.lv/...

Thank you Herder!! The hockey game sounds good!!! San Jose Sharks fan!!! I’ll send my brother an email and have him get tickets!!
Paldies!!
Two days ago, it was “sold out”, now all categories are available again- strange. But even if they might be available, it’s not so easy anyway to get those tickets. If you click “pirkt” on bilesuserviss, it leads you to the Kontinental Hockey League website, where you learn, that tickets were sold at bilesuserviss..? Might be easier to get the puck behind Coyote Ilya Bryzgalov than to make it into Arena Riga for the match. But if manage to make it, Ligita, you surely deserve a glass of Rigas Champagne..(..other way maybe some legendary Kimenes Wine if you keep standing outside in the rain;-)).
