The latvian folk song ensemble TEIKSMA (from Minnesota) will sing 3 concerts next month on the east coast:

Friday evening, May 14 in NY city,
Saturday aftermoon, May 15, in Philadelphia (Sv. Jana draudzes nama)
Sunday afternoon, May 16, in Priedaine, near Freehold, NY

Mes dziedasim ‘mazak pazistamas tautas dziesmas!!’  un dziesmas pavadis gan ar koklem, stabuli, akordeonu, vijoli un sitamiem instrumentiom.

Teiksma sastav Elga Pone ar meitam Zintu un Guntu, Ingrida Erdmane-Ostmane, Nora Treiberg-Lund, Laila Svalbe, es, un 3 Jani - Zeltins, Skujini - tevs ar delu.  Citi dalibnieki soreiz netiek.

Great family fun!

People seemed to like the concerts; only a handful of families w/children came to hear us (mostly in the Philadelphia area concert).  We had a lovely time!
