Does anyone know where one can buy Black Balsam in the United States?

Did the store in Westminster carry Balsam? I was just in Boulder where this liquor store used to carry it but they said the last delivery was August 2007 and they have not been able to reorder it. I think that the Black Balsam company is dropping the ball. There are a couple of places online to order it, just do a search. But of course due to our antiquated liquor laws you can’t have it shipped to Maryland - you have to have it sent to a friend in Virginia. The bottles I received from online orders have ben the old style of the 750 ml bottles - tall and thin. They don’t sell this shape bottle in Riga anymore, so I think they are using old stock.

As it turns out, the store in Westminster hasn’t carried Black Balsam for the last few years.  I also found the internet sites, but they won’t ship to Ohio (where I live). 

But, the story has a happy ending!  A friend of a friend of my son found a Russian store in Brighton Beach, NY that has it.  It was such a pain to find it (and a further pain to actually get my hands on it) that I bought a case so I won’t have to worry about it for a while.
