What brave person. Vidas is a Lithuanian living in the lowlands of Chicago land. Nothing Latvian about him. Actually I was going to inform people visiting Latvia to try and avoid the area around 56.454926, 24.194049 for that is the radioactive waste repository for Latvia and knowing the difference between western world and eastern world compliance, I would be very careful.

Now I know why you don’t have time to watch The Soviet Story with so many quality youtube and other videos available for you as the film connoisseur. Re: the last video posted by Andrejs. It can be challenging to stand on a planet that is hurtling through space around it’s sun at a whoppping 100,000 km/h. Add to that the earth spinning on its axis, these fine gents look like struggling amateur log drivers. :-)

It was New Year’s Eve some 6 or 7 years ago on Piebalgas iela in Cēsis. We were driving to my brother-in-law’s place for festivities when we noticed “something” in the middle of the road. It was a passed out drunkard…
