I’ve had this attraction for Latvia for long now, but now I unchangeably fell into Latvian language.
Latvians are just simply unfindable on chats and international forums so I have no Latvian acquaintances.
I would so like to get to know a native Latvian living in Latvia. Despite of that it would be already interesting for me to talk with one like that, I would like to practice my (still almost non-existing) Latvian language skills, listening to him/her speaking that beautiful language.
I’m a 21 year old Hungarian student, male. I am interested in geography, geneology - it would be great if Hungary also had a country-wide DNA research as what Latvia has - politics, like biking, swimming, reading, travelling (when I can afford) in my freetime.

Beware of what you wish for, but I did a search on google for chat lv and chats lv and there are Latvian language chat rooms out there. There are also quite a few latvian language forums as well if you want to practice. I don’t know that much about voice chat, but I am sure there some. Try skype.

Hehe, paldies, bet...national chatrooms are never good places to get to know people from the very country, believe it or not, it is somehow like that. Also, as I said, my Latvian is very limitet yet, I couldn’t speak in a chat-room.
I know a language forum, yeah, there are Latvians there, but not too many, I talk with one of them (In English), but it has not developed yet into a relationship where we switch e-mails or so.
