Hi Guys,

I wonder if one of you could do me a big favour. I have a friend from Latvia and it is her birthday this Saturday. I was hoping to write a short message in her card in Latvian as a surprise. I was wondering if anyone could translate the below message into Latvian for me?

It would be much appreciated.

Hey Marita

I thought for a bit of fun I would write your birthday message in your native language. Hope you have a fantastic day. I have a feeling that this year is going to be a very lucky one for you. Hopefully, it will all start with you winning some money off these lottery tickets. Just make sure you remember your crazy Irish friend when you’re mega rich. Again, have a great birthday and a great year, lots of love.

Hehe – I always put a couple of lottery scratch cards ticket into a card when I’m giving somebody a card – hope you have a Latvian word for that.

Čau Marita!

Ceru Tevi uzjautrināt, rakstot svecienus Tavā dzimtajā valodā- latviešu!
Novēlu Tev, lai šī dzimšanas diena būtu no visjaukākajām!

Esmu pārliecināts, ka nākošais gads būs īpaši veiksmīgs----un šī veiksme sāksies ar laimīgajām loterijas biļetēm! Lūdzu tikai vienu lietu: atceries mani, kad kļūsi bagāta!

Novēlu Tev fantastisku dienu un vēl labāku gadu!

Mīlestībā,
Sean
