Some sites to check out:
http://raganam.blogs.lv/ - “Buramie vārdi” in latvian

http://www.medintegra.lv/articles.php?lng=lv&pg=81 - Prāta, emociju un gara pašizaugsme - BURAMVĀRDI NESADEG

Witchcraft consists of many aspects.  Some are healing - dziedinashana, magic words - buramie vardi, curse - laasts vai nolaadeet.

Some of the designations for these people are
“zintnieks vai zintniece” - one who knows, usually a positive force person.
“puushljotaajs vai puusljotaaja” - from the word for bladder, usually a healer
“ragana” - witch - usaually a negative force person
and of course chigaans vai chigaaniete” - gypsy, because they all seem to know some witchcraft.
