My grandmother recently found her old friend Talis Berzins whose son Inesis moved to America with his grandmother. He used to live in New York. If you can help me, please let me know. Helena

Inesis is my uncle.  Unfortunately, I have lost his contact info and have not seen him since my father’s death (his half brother).  He last lived in Staten Island.  I would like very much to find him also.

I know that Inesis’ father isn’t your blood relative… He was a childhood friend of my grandmother’s, and Inesis was a childhood friend of my uncle’s. We (me, on my grandmother’s behalf) were trying to find him so that we could bring him together with his father, but there doesn’t seem to be much motivation on either the father’s or the son’s side! I hope that Inesis is okay! It doesn’t seem very promising.

My grandmother asked Pravests Ozols whose parish Inesis had been a member of, but he didn’t have any contact information. I will definitely let you know if I find anything out! Helen

Inesis aunt, Jesija Vitols, was a friend of my mothers and both, Inesis and aunt Jesija, come to our house for a visit quit offten. They lived in Brooklyn at that time. There was a time when Inesis joined the local Latvian theater group and achieved some success. Once the aunt died, Inesis disappeared from the Latvian circles in New York. I have no idea where he might be at this time.
