U.S. newspapers (and the world press, like bbc) are full of news about the cyber attack on Estonia coming from “Russian” sources. For weeks I have been noticing strange spam on Latvian DELFI. Is Latvia also being cyber-attacked? The bbc news article published 5/17/07 ("Estonia hit by ‘Moscow cyber war’") mentions “spam avalanche” and further states that “instructions on how to carry out cyber warfare are circulating in Russian on Russian websites” and “...the cyber attacks come from all over the world.” Examples of DELFI “spam” can be found among the “atsauksmes” to the article: BARROZU BRIDINA KRIEVIJU NECENSTIES SASKELT ES (5/19/07). What do you think?
