An Independence Day service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Nov. 16 in the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. John, 301 N. Newtown Street Road, Newtown Square. Join Boston-area Latvians for a celebration of the 90th anniversary of the declaration of Latvian independence at 1 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Latvian Lutheran Church Hall, 58 Irving Street, Boston.
