- Jāņi in Copenhagen
Latvians in Denmark are invited to a Jāņi celebration June 13 in the garden of the Embassy of Latvia, 17 Rosbaeksvej, Copenhagen. On the program is a speech by Ambassador Andris Razāns and a presentation about Jānis Krēsliņš, a cultural historian who lives in Stockholm. Folk musician Zane Šmite and the Latvian Choir of Denmark and Sweden will provide music. Activities for children also are planned. For further information, contact the embassy at +45 39 276 000 or .

- Baltic celebration in Braunsbach-Döttingen
As part of the “Essentia Baltica” festival, a Baltic celebration of Jāņi is scheduled at 19:00 hours June 13 in Braunsbach-Döttingen.
