Happy 90th Birthday Latvija! You are a very beautiful country with your old buildings, churches and scenic lakes. I greatly admire you as a country. You survived wars and Russian occupation yet you never lost your spirit and patriotism. You have continued to grow in your renewed freedom.
I have heard many great stories of how beautiful you are. One day soon, I hope to walk on the sandy beach of the Baltic Sea, and feel the winds of my ancestors.
In my heart Latvija will always be my home.
